Thank you everyone for your assistance and support with “This Place Matters” television commercial campaign! The video shoot was very successful. The television commercials (free to the Spokane Tribe) should hit the airwaves next month. The signs our young Wellpinit students are holding say “Our Home Matters” in Salish. The commercials will promote Washington State’s historical preservation efforts. And it will help to promote the National Historical Preservation Conference being held in Spokane, Washington in October/2012. The Spokane Tribe is the host Tribe of the 2012 conference. We are working collaboratively with other tribes to help make the Spokane conference educational and unique. Again, thank you for your assistance yesterday!! Jamie.
