                          Mrs. Hegney's Mission Statement

My mission is to encourage my students to gain the self-confidence to make choices that will positively impact their lives.  Understanding that the world is a complex and challenging place, I will help my students develop skills that will allow them to be successful in the world, skills such as responsibility, respect, organization, communication, work ethic, social skills, cooperation and compassion are vitally important.  By holding both myself and my students to high expectations; I will help empower my students to reach their highest potential through positive role modeling.  I will inspire my students to know that with the knowledge they garner, they can choose to be successful in whatever endeavor or path they follow.
