About Me

• Born and raised on a farm in Wilbur, Washington

• Graduate of Whitworth College currently attending Walden University.

• Married to Les Hegney, 2 children: Jenn, a 2nd grade teacher in Lefors, Texas who is married to Leif  and Michael, a senior at Whitworth College majoring in Kinesiology and 2 stepsons, Eric, who recently completed his Police Science degree and SCC and Travis, assistant manager at Airport Peppertree Inn

• 2 English Springer Spaniels, Jenny and Ali.  Ali moved to Texas with Jenn and Leif this past summer and we hope to be the owners of a puppy soon.  Jenny passed away on December 31, 2007.

• I like reading, sports and spending time with my family

• Spend my weekends and summers working on our family farm.
