Major Eric D. Cusick

Maj. Cusick Eric Cusick is a retired officer of the United States Army, currently serving as Senior Army Instructor, Wellpinit High School. Originally from Wenatchee, Washington, Eric claims Eastern Washington as his home.

He graduated from Wenatchee High School and went on to get a B.A. in Speech Communications for Central Washington University. At the completion of college Eric was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army and has completed Air Defense Officer Basic Course, Ordnance Officer Advance Course, Combined Arms Service Staff School, Support Operations Course, Logistics Executive Development Course, and Command and General Staff College. Eric furthered his civilian education completing a Masters of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University.

Eric has had numerous assignments and duties as an officer in the Army. While serving with the 8th Infantry Division (Mechanized), Germany, Eric was a platoon leader, company executive officer, division protocol officer, assistant secretary for the general staff, and division support command material officer. At his next assignment with the 7th Infantry Division (Light), Fort Ord, California, Eric was a company commander, battalion adjutant, battalion material officer, and battalion support operations officer. Following this he then went on to Combined Arms Support Command, Fort Lee, Virginia, where he served as a logistics staff officer. His next assignment place him in the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky, where he was assigned as the assistant corps support group operations officer, the division support command logistics and support officer, and a battalion executive officer. His next assignment placed him at the Combat Maneuver Training Center (CMTC), Hohenfels, Germany. At CMTC Eric served as a coach, teacher, and mentor for battalion support operations officers, battalion executive officers, and battalion commanders in planning and preparing for combat. Eric then moved to Spokane, Washington, and served as Executive Officer for the Gonzaga University ROTC Program for five years.

Eric Cusick is married to the former Miss Jill Brown of Naches, Washington. They have two daughters: Samantha and Katelyn.
