On November 13, 2007 the Wellpinit school library participated in the National Young Readers Day sponsored through the BookIt program. This year, popular children's author and entertainer, John Lithgow, lead the celebration of National Young Readers Day with a special bedtime reading of The Remarkable Farkle McBride the evening of November 13, 2007. Families who participated in America's Biggest Bedtime Story by watching the online Webcast were eligible to receive a free book (student's selection) donated through our PageAhead Grant (2007-2008).

I'd like to thank everyone who attended this year's celebration. Look for other upcoming events throughout the year…one in March 2008 and another in May 2008.
