Where were you born?
I was born in Colville, WA.

Where did you go to school?
My brother and two sisters and I moved around quite a bit growing up. We went to school at St. Mary’s Mission in Omak, WA. Then we moved to Oregon and went to school there. We moved to our grandparents home in Republic and went to school in Republic, WA. After this, we moved into Spokane, WA and attended various schools (Shaw Middle School, Gary Jr. High, Rogers High School), and as we all entered High school – we moved here to the Spokane Indian Reservation and went to Wellpinit High School.

What is a favorite memory of your childhood?
Taking long walks at St. Mary’s with all my friends and family. Camping out all summer with our grandparents – hunting & fishing…and all the swimming.

What is a favorite memory of being a teenager?
Horseback riding, Rodeos, and having more time to play with my dogs.

Who was your favorite teacher?
I never had only one favorite teacher.

What do you do for fun?
I like to read, attend powwow’s, watch my 7 grandkids at 3-on-3’s and Hoopfest…and my various trips to Hawaii.

What is your favorite book?
I have so many favorites... at so many different levels that that would be impossible for me to answer. However, if you asked me what I feel is the most important book I own it would be: The RIGHTS of Indians, the Individual and tribes.

What is your favorite music?
Again, I like a variety of music from all genre’s. At present, I enjoy a native flute mix to relax by and hard rock for the road (it keeps me awake for those long road trips).

What is your favorite food?
Anything HOT and spicy!

What is your favorite TV Program?
I don’t really watch a lot of TV – I have cable – and I still don’t watch a lot of TV.

What is your favorite movie?
Arsenic and Old Lace with Cary Grant.

What is one of your unfulfilled fantasies?
Going to Europe and study art from the Masters.

What is something that people don't know about you?
That I believe traditional native medicine will be the biggest benefit to the people of the world... when taken seriously.
