Did they have any holidays?

The Plateau Indians did not have holidays ("holy-days") in the
same way that we do now. For one thing, they did not have a calendar -
a fixed common numerical way to keep track of the days.
But they did have special times during the year where special rituals and
behavior took place. The main rituals, religious holidays, were the guardian-spirit quest,
the firstling rites, and the winter dance.
