Historical Photographs of Spokane Indians

Notice the fur around the braves, and how her feather is supported in the back.
The caption on this photograph read "Mi Mi - Niece of John Stevens". This would make sense if John Stevens had married a Native woman.
On another photograph (L94-7.42) this girl is identified as Lizzie Boyd, the daughter of Chief Sam Boyd, whose married name is Mrs. Moses Williams (or Mrs. Lizzie Ford). The picture was taken in 1907 when Lizzie was then 7 years old.
