There is an older headstone and a new one. The older one seems to say: INDIAN CHIEF GARRY
The inscription on the new one says: Garry Chief of the Spokanes died JAN. 12th 1892 His Life Spanned the Unfolding of The Spokane Country from the Days of the Fur Traders at Spokane House to the Activities of a Modern city.Alexander Ross Governor Isaac I. Stevens Colonel George Wright and Other Publicists.
