BIBLIOGRAPHY

DEDICATION

This book is respectfully dedicated to my parents, Phoebe and Clair Wynecoop. Encouraged by my father, I have spent ten years working for the Spokane Tribe. Whenever I have been tempted to abandon this work, it was my father's advice and strength that carried me on. It gives me great pleasure to dedicate this work to him posthumously and to my mother while she can still enjoy the results of my efforts.
