The Wellpinit School District 49
 

The Wellpinit School District serves all 155,000 acres of the Spokane Indian Reservation. Our student body of 440 are treated to one of the most technologically advanced schools in Eastern Washington. We take pride in keeping our students up to date with the latest advancements in education.

Wellpinit also maintains commitments to under-served students throughout the state of Washington through its Alliance High Schools. The Wellpinit Alliance High Schools consist of a number of schools throughout Washington State which have partnered with the Wellpinit School District to provide school curriculum to currently under-served students.

Current Schools partnering with the Wellpinit School District include:
  • The Wellpinit High School/Elementary School
  • The newly refurbished Wellpinit Middle School opened on August 28, 2003. The school serves approximately 100 students. Seventeen employees transferred from the main school to the new middle school.
  • The local Alliance Aternative School
  • The Ft. Simcoe Job Corps at White Swan, Washington
  • The Yakama Tribal School in Toppenish, Washington
  • The Moses Lake Job Corps at Moses Lake, Washington
