Wellpinit Online Resources
 


We have three district wide resources for this year, all of which have great educational potential
  • If you are an Instructor, please look into these!
  • You may give out the usernames and passwords for ProQuest and for CultureGrams to your students. They and their parents can use them at home!!
  • I will be glad to help you with any or all of these
  • I will eventually post this and more information on our web-site under the Students menu
Here are the resources:

(1) UnitedStreaming Discover Videos
Go to http://www.unitedstreaming.com/
Set up your individual account using the passcode: 39FD-632C
  • Very educational videos at all levels
  • teacher page has all sorts of ideas
  • you should learn how to download your videos ahead of time.
  • ESD101 no longer sends out educational videos: this is their replacement

(2) ProQuest Publications
Go to www.proquestk12.com/
Login using the following:
Username: 35-14076
Password: bigchalk

This is a serious educational resource!
It consists of three parts:
  • (2a) ProQuest Online (A reference databases offer comprehensive publication collections for research. From general reference to advanced subject matter, ProQuest has it all.)
  • (2b) eLibrary (more than 1,500 full-text sources. Includes magazines, newspapers, books, television/radio transcripts, maps, pictures, and audio/video clips.)
  • (2c) eLibrary Elementary (eLibrary with a young learner-tested design.) Note – ELibrary elementary is perhaps not as elementary as it should be.

(3) CultureGrams World Geography and Cultures
Go to http://online.culturegrams.com/

Login using the following:

Password: cgrams

CultureGrams contains information about countries from around the world and about all the 50 states. It includes:
