Second Steps Parent Program - On Monday, January 9th, we are beginning our Second Steps Parent Program for 3rd and 4th grade parents. This is a great program that helps students learn skills to get along with others and deal with their feelings in a positive way. Many parents attended this program last year. Since then the program has changed, and we are inviting all parents back so they can receive updated material and skills that the children are learning in the classroom. This year, in addition to dinner and free childcare, we are offering door prizes and drawings (which may include gas cards and gift certificates) for those that attend.

LifeSKills Parent Program for 8th Grade - 5:30-7:00 in HS/MS Cafeteria

Tuesdays, January 10, January 24, January 31

Tuesdays, February 7, February 14, February 21

On Tuesday, January 10th, the LifeSkills Parent Program will be offered to 8th grade parents. This is a great program that helps students communicate better, make good decisions, and deal with peer pressure. The parent program provides useful information to parents to help reinforce what they are learning.

Over the summer, middle school kids, parents and faculty participated re-filming all the videos for this program, and we will be using them every week. They did an AWESOME job and we encourage you to come and see what they did! This year, in addition to dinner and free childcare, we are offering door prizes and drawings (which may include gas cards and gift certificates) for those that attend.
